Joe and I finally moved Sydney down the hall. She was sleeping in the room that juts off our bedroom, which made it difficult to use my office. I thought it would be harder on me to have her "so far away" but it wasn't. It was kind of a relief to be able to sit up late and read in bed.

Happy Fourth of July! Whew hew! We have a ton of great photos and stuff to share - Syd's first birthday, 4th (well, 3rd) of July celebratory activities including fireworks with Janet and Brianna... As Janet and Bri are still here visiting until tonight, I'm going to go cherish my last few hours with them. In the meantime, I thought you all might be interested in reading this article. Yes, it has finally happened. Charges have been filed against the two individuals in the car that killed Jody last August. Whew hew! Now that's something to celebrate. Check it out:
